A friend of mine has just bought a Cortina mk2 1600E and wants to have the rear axle rebuilt. He lives in Woodbridge. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this in Suffolk or North Essex?
Hi Mitch,depending how far he wants to go with it theres not a lot to them.Five bearings to replace and depending on what ratio he wants to run.The standard diff was bullet proof anyway,I only know cos my dad always ran mk2's and used to rebuild them.He could do the axle he lives at barham near claydon.I still have the shaft pullers for them as well.Let me know and i can get a rough price if its any help.
