Happy Shopper cola, corr the hard stuff! I hear the burger van at Bourne Bridge is rather nice, as is the Crows Nest down at the viewing point. Seriously, if you want to book somewhere for a meal better do it PDQ, as most places get booked up and start charging higher prices for a candlelight supper.

The Crown Hotel at Manningtree do a good party menu and aren't too expensive.  We used to go there with the museum for their Christmas dinner, I could look into it if anyone is interested.  Then go for a cruise on the way back.

Yeah, we're up for it. 'ere Bitzer, get yourself hooked up with that teacher and you two can have the back seat of the Humber.

I will go with the majority but i Fi's suggestion is prob best.

I know s a long way for most of us to go, but Mitch is going to have a word with the B-52 club in Sarfend.  If we have a meal and make a night of it, it could be worth the trip down.

you can buy vinyl leatherette from the material remnant shop opposite royal mail sorting office near motorworld. i bought a black carpet from the remnant shop main road kesgrave cheap. be careful around kesgrave though, theres some very unsavoury characters live round there, they drive around in large vans and play banjo's they do!

Might be better going down to Manningtree in the summer, the pub I was thinking about has a nice garden overlooking the river. (Well it is if you've had a drinky or 2 and the trainspotters would like it)

Hey there,

Been having a nightmare recently so have not been on much. I'm trying to get ready for MOT in March/April time. Once I've got her back together and running, do you all fancy a trip to Ipswich,to help get her *finished* and MOT ready? , My neighbours would love a hot rod mini meet out front!

Martin
