Dont know if youve all noticed but we now have 50 members and growing. We really do need that bigger bus!!Great to see so many people enjoying themselves.Pat on the back for Si and Mitch. The word of mouth has spread like wild fire through Ipswich for one.We will need a nice plot at the nationals and should be a good turnout for shows in general this year can't wait.To the boys in the begining we salute you
maybe with some nice stools to rest are old pegs.Should be one hell of a year. Some big cruises like in the old days.I can remember going to the shows in london mid 90's and by the time you hit the 25 there would be dozens of us...happy days
Cheers guys, not so much for the forum, but because its nice to know there are people out there with the same views as us!!
I would also like to say thank you to Ian (Shrek) as although Turtlespeed was started by us in the 80's, it was re invented as it is now with Ians help. He was the first to put his hand up and say he didnt like 'mod rods' and first to leave AHRA. We suggested what we are doing now and he agreed to be our first member on the forum. If he had disagreed then I probably wouldnt have bothered!!!
Me and Shrek where thinking of building a confesions box for the Nats. Last year we camped on our own with just the 2 of us and a turtlespeed banner.
We had so many people coming over from other clubs slagging so many other people, we thought it would be easier!!!
yes well done to everyone involved in getting turtlespeed to where it is today. As Nick say's we are going to need a BIG area at the NATS this year, fortunatly 1 or 2 of you are lucky enough to get in on the Thursday to help around the place so it is upto you to get a decent area for us, i personally think where Si and Shrek were camped last year is a good place to try and get, but we can sort that nearer the time.
There is another area we could camp and that's over where the UK Kustoms folks camped, right near the newish loo block. Mike wouldn't have too far to go to pop over to see Toots and have a peep at Spence's truck.
i think where we were last year was a good spot. Far away enough away to be left alone but right next to the road to have a beer and watch whats goin on and close enough to have a piss with out needing a map but far enough away not to smell it!!!

All this from the guy that must live the closest to the showground and goes HOME every night! dear oh dear. Tailspin ya gotta stay over this year, bring a fresh roll and a change of underwear just in case of accidents, there's always nappies!
There are lots of things in this world I dont want to think about. My son in Iraq, finding that my wife Jo used to be Joe etc......but the most revolting thing ever has got to be the thought of Chucky spit roasting in a tent!!!
relax Si, you wernt the target for spit roasting so chill out. these type of things only happen in places like Kesgrave, so calm yourself Simon....or is it Simone!!!!!!!!!!? i think me and bod should be the worried ones in all this, we had better sleep with one eye open at the NATS then!
To be fair Tony I didnt think you slept at the nats. Didnt seem to matter what time of the day I night I went for a walk, guaranteed I would find you holding a wall up some where with a can in your hand!!!!
it all goes on in suffolk si so you shouldnt be so worried you do live in the deepest part of suffolk and keith does look like a distant cousin from the deliverance!!!!!!!!!!!
