Bought these off E-Bay today. Dont know what they were originally from, neither did the seller. They were advertised as 'Possible Humber or Standard' I dont recognise them. Any ideas?


I bought 'em cos i liked 'em. Now i've got to buy a car to fit them to.

Just had a little look in one of Mike's Humber history books and I don't think that they are Humber. Most of the Rootes rear light clusters, by the looks of things in this book anyway had 3 lense.


 


Could you use on that Cheltenham thingy of yours?

No, i've got two ideas for these lights, one is to bung them on a trailer i'm building to haul all my number plate crap to shows and the other is a lot bigger, but i wont say what cos it probably wont happen

Definitely not Humber, my guess would be later Standard Vanguard or Ensign, I'll have a look in one of my books later.

I was going to bid for those ! n then sell `em on to some one we know with a big black Buick.


 


But I think that they`re off an Isis or p`raps a later year Wooley/magnette but I`d still take a bet on an Isis

Could be but you may find the chromy bits are painted...that`s why I said Isis as it`s the posher model
