WE BRAVED THE WRATH OF THE NORTH SEA AIR TO DRAG OUR OVERFED POST CHRISTMAS BODIES TO THE SEA FRONT FOR A SMALL GET TOGETHER. I FOR ONE ENJOYED IT ALL BITE STRUGGLING WITH WHITE FINGER AS THE FEELINGS SLIPPED FROM MY HANDS AND FEET.
WELL DONE EVERYBODY I SALUTE YOU ALL A FEW PICS TO FOLLOW!!!!
Must have been a dozen to 15 of us with, I think, 8 cars. Jerry in shorts as usual, something abnormal about that as the rest of us are still probably thawing out!
Certainly nice to get out of the house and on the road for a bit.

Yeah enjoyed it too, conked out on the 1214 just by the cop shop entrance. Feck'n fuel starvation AGAIN! that bloody fuel tank has yealded two jam jars full of stones and various items so far and will have to come out again and go back with an electric fuel pump this time.Nearly dark, There I was lying in a puddle little legs hang'n out me shorts just got an eyefull of petrol (that stings a bit don't it) blowing down the fuel line to dislodge yet another stone, such fun.Still look forward to the next one, perhaps a bit more thought as to what we do next time but did enjoy the much needed hot cuppa and get together on the front.
Well hope the rest of you got home OK especially those with dodgy lights fuel pumps etc or both!. And a Happy New Year to you all.
Bumper........... or is it Bummer. 'think pink' !!!!
I enjoyed it too and was quite surprised how many cars turned up. it would be good to do something like this again but like jerry said we definatly need to organise it a bit better so we know what we are doing and where we are going! me and my pop got home with dodgy lights ok but just as i got to my lockup in bentley i realised the wife had my garage and mundano key's and she was 15 miles away in Felixstowe round Trev and Julies! luckily Dougal had followed me and he took me back to Felixstowe then back to bentley again!! i reckon his fish and chips were well dried up by the time he got home! it's a good job there is still a few helpful people about.
I'm glad you all had a good time. Im a bit pissed off that me and Mitch couldnt make it as we started this whole thing off, but i spent the day cruising the great ocean road on the surf coast in a V8 monaro......bit new I know but the sun, surf and girls made up for that!!!!
How cold were your fingers.............I was thinking of you as a sunk another bottle of Victoria bitter on the beach........
Braver than I would be. Glad you had a good turnout despite the weather!!
I spent the day at the doctors who fell off his chair at my blood pressure!! 190/145. I comforted him with the fact that after Wednesday I wont be in the AHRA anymore. But I have to give up smokin' and reading on Turtlespeed
Why is there an attached photo below???? Not I who put it there.
