Closed forums are cliquish. I can understand it if you are geting attacked from outside. But that is clearly not the case.

Mitch I'm sorry you choose to feel that way about me. But you couldn't be more wrong about all you just said.

By the way you did delete soulfood. 2nd soulfood was a friend at work who you also deleted and Wrangler was me and him.

It describes very well what you have done and how it makes me ill. Yes it does make me ill!! and that makes Mandy angry and my daughter is very upset. Anyone with any sense could see why it would make me put up a stroppy, as you call it, post in my defence....But thats what you want me to do as you can press my buttons at will by slagging me and therefore 'control' my reactions to give further reason to put me down. While you are both very friendly to my face or on the phone you constantly attack me on forums and to other people. OK, lets say that it's just your sense of humour which some might share and understand. But it is important that you should respect that although I try and see the funny side it just carries on, gets very personal and wears me down. Add to this the sniping at my daughter, Mods and Rodders and some of it's members and you will understand why I have signed on to read what you are saying and if you are still saying things to put me and those affected around me down. It has absolutely nothing to do with what Turtlespeed are about.

You seem to think that I dont like the fact that you are so easy going. In fact I find you and Si have run Turtlespeed as a very cliquish group, very self righteous and the most difficult people to get along with unless it's on your terms. Therefore not very layed back at all. Easy going, dont make me laugh. I dont care weather you have a chairman or not and not concerned in any way as to what cars or music you like. Good luck to you and I mean that sincerely. Mods and Rodders are in no way trying to compete with anyone let alone Turtlespeed. If you think I am concerned about what you do regarding cars, events and clubmates then you are just flattering yourselves.

The only reason I am on here and avoid posting is because you constantly put me down so I naturally am curious as to what else you are saying on here and therefore telling other members of your group. I dont believe in all honesty that I deserve that sort of treatment. I have always made you and Si and everybody welcome at our meetings. I never put you or your group down on forums. Perhaps that is because I have nothing against you apart from you vendetta towards me which effects my family. What is a laugh to you guy's has been seriously bad for my health in a year that has been seriously bad for my close family, the AHRA and close friends. So I ask you to put an end to it please.

I know part of the bullies mindset is to get a reaction ( emotional control) which is why I stopped posting and signed on to read only. But alas I have risen to your bait and posted. Yes some will be laughing their heads off at me wearing my heart on my sleeve for all to see. So be it, I'm worn out with all this hate directed at me and have to have my say.

Some people in this group like you and Si because they say that you are honest. Well Hitler was honest too. But being honest does not make you rightouse and does not distinguish you from being good or evil. I am surprised that the people I consider friends on here do nothing to defend my name. However, they are saying much to you and Si by not joining in slagging me off...But you have not realised this as yet have you? All your critisims about committees, clubs, memberships are all tagged to M&R. There are members of your group who are committee members of other clubs including the equivelent of a committeee on M&R. But why single M&R out as well as myself.

The AHRA, and indeed any club that puts on a show for others to enjoy need a commiitee. Without it there would not have been Mersea Motor Madness. In all honesty do you think the AHRA would deserve more respect being a Turtlespeed clone and not doing anything to put back into the scene. Or do you think that Mersea Motor MAdness was a huge success done for the benifit of everyone in the scene as a thankless task and immpossible without a club structure. To be an NASC club discounted member you HAVE to be in a club. NASC membership requires funding which is raised by having membership fees. Membership fees and committees have a practical use and are not for bragging rights. By the same count some politics are un avoidable. But they dont have to be in your face. A group like Turtlespeed does not require a committee or structure...and there is nothing wrong with that if it is your bag

Si and Mitch. I believe that I am a good person and if I am wrong then I do my best to be.

So I will leave you with my plea to stop this victimisation of me, my family, my friends and M&R and ask that god bless you and wish Turtlespeed all the best in a happy new year.

As I have no chance of changing the mindset of a buuly I can only change my reaction. Which is not to post!! So take this contribution to your forum as a statement in my defence for others (who may now have a wrong opinion of me through Mitch and Si) to read and get my side even though opinions on written format is not the best way to state my feelings.

Adrian, i put a long reply to you on here last night, but i've deleted it as i cant be bothered to get into another silly row with you.

To the point of not posting i have to be honest in that i haven't posted in a while firstly due to the fact my computer died, but that gave me a chance to sit back from all the forums and the general scene take a breather from everything happening, and i can only speak for myself here, i have been reconsidering wether i actually want to be in a club where there is sooo many people bitching, telling tales and acting like ****s. I was hoping that now everyone has gone there seperate ways this would all stop and honestly believed turtlespeed was the one place i could (almost) come to get away from that. Just a group of laid back people who can take a give as good as they get and have a laugh not taking anything too seriously. Obviously i was wrong which is a shame as Owen and i whilst not having a computer have been seriously considering selling all cars except 1 daily hack (Cavalier) and going to the bike scene as they never seem to have this many problems like we are suffering. 

I will not be posting on here regularly, as to be honest i haven't the time or inclination to come on here week in week out, but would have been nice to know what events are happening and occasionally post if we wanted to etc so depending whether we go to cars or bikes we could keep up with anything happening, and pop in from time to time.

That wasn't a dig at any of you, and can see with my own eyes it was adrian who started the problems but when the place you consider a 'haven' if you like from all the poo going on elsewhere, is getting caught up in it all then it really isn't a good thing.

I know everyone has been feeling the strain recently but for me this has been pretty much constant from july and have lost alot of good friends because of it, and i am asking myself, not just about the site, but about the scene, is it really worth it?. Guess my timing for coming back wasn't great either and love all you guys to bits and the scene in general, but again is it really worth it? Unfortunatly i'm not so sure anymore. If we left it would certainly not be on bad terms with you guys and we would definatly come and see you all, just leave the rest of it.
