Ya know cleaning cars isn't often discussed and I too fekkin HATE it, hence one of the many reasons I keep the truck how it is. I've got a custom pushbike with multispoke wheels and I don't remember ever cleaning them. Perhaps pass on the Tigra then! Those wheels will take some thought and it's your choice when it comes down to it and as long as your happy with the end result thats what counts.
I've bought a Holbay engine. I've always had a thing about period tuning parts so even though its not a V8 there's no denying that a Holbay with twin 40's makes a lovely noise.
A mate of mine used to have a mk2 escort powered by a 1740 holbay motor with standard gearbox and rear axle and it went like $hit off a stick! 0-60 was very quick but it ran out of steam around 90mph, like you say it's not a v8 but i reckon you gonna have some fun with that lump in your septic
It was booked in for flames but i couldn't get it there once the engine died, will be re-booking it once its running. engine should be in end of next week.
