WANTED : Indicator Lense (Lucas 488)

had a slight accident in my garage last night whilst changing a bulb, dropped the lense and broke it.


Has anyone got a lense laying around, or know where I can get hold of one pretty quickly.


it's marked up as Lucas 488,


I need one clear one ideally , but would also be happy with a pair of amber ones. or a pair of any other indicators so I can replace both.


anyone got anything suitable

I changed my front indicators to clear last year and I think I have the old amber ones in the garage.  Are these any good to you?

Im not home until Sunday, so will dig them out for you then if thats not to late.


I dont want anything for them, just buy a pint as and when we meet up at a show!!!

any time after Sunday would be great, I just need em' before 24th November for speedfreaks ball. If I don't break anything else, such a small garage to work in. Will definately buy you  a Pint or two at a show.  Cheers!

I will give you a shout as soon as I have them.  I think I am seeing Fi on Sunday. As she live in Ipswich I will give them to her if thats ok.  If anything changes I will let you know.


AND DONT BREAK ANYTHING ELSE!!!!

Yeah , exhaust is fixed, my mate Andy fixed the old one , but also got bored and made me a brand new one out of stainless! for ........wait for it ..............£10 so I've now got two downpipes, although I'm obviously using the new one.


Driver side door glass is also in now, so I'm pretty pleased, apart from the broken indicator lense


Yeah MrPopular giving it to fi will be fine. My Number is xxxxxxxx , send me a text or something if anything falls through or you can't find them.

If you want a clear one, you could try a camping shop as they are often used on trailers. Should be able to get one from there easy enough.
