Suspension should be gettign done over the winter, need to sort the exhaust out first though. Don't wan't to gas myself on the way to speedfreaks.

Sorry Martin, just checked beauty rings are 14 inch. Stickers are on there way. Should be going to Speedfreaks in minor. Bloody long way in one of them things. You'd think i'd be used to it by now, been going up there twice a year since 1989. Still seems a bloody long way!!

zorst is not sorted yet, I've got the down pipe off , and am dropping it off to my mates brother  who is welder by trade, lets just hope the pipe is in good enough condition to weld!!!

Actually i think they are for 15inch wheels, they measure 14'' across but are too big for my minor, so they probably sit inside the 15'' rim. I'll bring them to hemsby with me and we'll give em a try.

Hi and welcome over mate.  As you probably know from other forums, i share a workshop with deuce. The best bit is that it has a pit. You are more than welcome to use it any time if you need to. There is normally plenty of people down there to help!

glad you like it. the motor is a 2977cc *cough*Diesel*ahem* hope to replace it with a V8 but not for a year or so as I need to get other bits a bobs sorted first.

One of my mates has Got a 1949 Ford F1 pick up and they took the straight 8 out of it and replaced it with a Transit 2.5 Diesel. I wouldn't have done it but as they use it daily it did make sense for them really.


I do think there is a future for diesels in classics/customs as the new ones are powerful but with good economy.

Out of our price range at the moment but I drove the new Land Rover V8 diesel last week.....what an engine!!!! (for a diesel)
