Forgive me for being the new boy on here, but I just checked out the Grand on Google Earth and cannot see a carpark??? Or do you just dump the wheels on the front?

i think mark from the grand is gonna put some cones out late sat night and hope fully free up some space, also the contractors have finished that section of the prom so their vehicles wont be there.

mostly pay and display and taxi rank there, without reserved parking you will be scattered along the sea front, any idea of numbers? Possible 3 coming from here http://classiccarmonkeys.forumotion.co.uk/t614-april-fools-day .

Had a really enjoyable day out, a good turn out of vehicles, sunshine, rockabilly music and great to catch up with people. Being able to park along the prom was an added bonus, with a road closure planned for next year hopefully even more people will come along

well said cudley. Great day. I think every one that turned up had a good day. Lets get the nationals out of the way and then really push this for next year!!

Too right, some ideas were floated around sunday which if they come off next year it will be great! Perhaps a few more 'local' rodders who were invited along might make an appearence next year!

Now we know we have the parking sorted I think they will. I think when people looked it up and saw no car park it put them off. Next year we will advertise parking on the prom.
