I have spent a while redesigning the web site. I changed and updated the cars and I changed into a landing page with links through to the links page and the forum and deleted all the members cars and places we been. I also created a page advert for the show that Dell has been working on.
As you may have seen by now we have a turtlespeed group page on facebook which I was going to add all the events to.
Having spent hours on it I tried to upload it all last night but it wouldnt go through. Having spoken to the web company today I have found that they dont support the programme anymore and I need to pay them more money. They will however continue to support the current site as it sits for the immediate future.
Question. Leave it as it is? or do I get new programmes, re build the site and pay extra to host it?
I'm not concerned so much about the cost. To host it I think it's about £45. It's more that I've got to get a new web building programme that the web holsters can support, I'm sure I can get one cheap from somewhere, but I will have to build the site from scratch. I won't be able to use the existing site as a template.
The question is.... We know who uses the forum... That's ok. That's supported by different people.... But how many people look at the web site before going to the forum?
We can leave it as it is for free, but I don't know how long for, but it's getting old.
If we decide we want to change it do we like its look a d I will build one virtually the same or do we want a radicle re think?
