Hi all wonderd if you could help my freinds 1970 beetle he bought last year has just gone in for its first mot and failed for being too loud? Its just a 1500 engine in there..I was hopeing you might know a good garage he could take it to in the essex area?

Im guessing he just needs a new exhaust? I didnt even know they did noise tests in MOT's.
