This is a new venture by farm owners, I hope it is a success.

The previous shows they had were organised by EAPC I think hmm

sounds good :) though my dynamo isn't charging well, so Hopefully a friendly person will give me a jump start at the end of the day.

One of us will give you a jump start, i have got a spare dynamo if you're interested as long as it fits your car, really you should go for fitting an alternator as it is a very easy job and is far better.

Cheers Chucky, I've already decided that alternator is a good way to go as soon as I can afford it.

I'm planing to switch from posi  to negi earth, fit an alternator and then fit an accuspark ignition to hopefully get a bit more modern reliability.

I'm going to get a portable jump pack from maplin (on sale for £25 at the mo) so I can jump myself if I get stuck anywhere.

Changing over to negative earth is one of the easiest jobs you can do and then fitting accuspark electronic ignition is very beneficial, i have it fitted to my motor and have used it on other cars and it really does make a difference.

I made it, recognised cars but didn't recognise any faces (possibly two guys sat next to a suburban but wasn't sure.) you can see the arse end of my shonky Superminx right on the end of the row in the last pic. Bit of a pain to start when we left but otherwise a good day!
