Anyone interested in joining with us, the Pontiac Owners Club, at the Orwell Truck Stop, on - say - 17th April this year, to start the ball rolling for the "season" (if there really is one)?
As Charlie Harries was in Espanol enjoying the sun when I was phoning around, I thought it prudent to jump in with the idea while there's still time...

You have changed the date from April 24th to 17th, i assume its because you didnt realise at the time its easter sunday. We are having a meet up on April 17th at the 8 ball diner A12 Witham so most of us will be there, shame as i would have come along - maybe the next one.
For the past couple of years, we've used the Orwell Truck Stop for the POC Meets in East Anglia, as the POC Essex meet is at Checkers Diner, Chelmsford - as we don't want all the regional meets only a few miles apart, we'll stick with the Truck Stop for the first meet then possibly look at other venues across Suffolk/Norfolk/Cambs to make it a little fairer to those members.
The date change is due to Easter, as commented - the place is usually heaving with other folks all trying to do their own meets, so it isn't practical - so this time, we'll do the 17th April, then see who's doing what next month & tie-in with that, whether POC, Turtlespeed, AACI, AVO, Fossil Classics United, Golfwagen GiTs-R-Us (well - maybe not them...) - or whoever...
As long as we get meets going somewhere down the line, it'll do fine!
