Former Benetton Formula One team boss Tom Walkinshaw has died at the age of 64 after losing a battle with cancer.
During his career Walkinshaw ran the Ligier and Arrows Formula One teams and was also instrumental in bringing future World Champion Michael Schumacher to Benetton.
Walkinshaw acquired a majority stake in Arrows and also recruited then reigning World Champion Damon Hill to drive for the team in 1997.
His TWR Jaguar cars won three World Sportscar titles, and triumphed at Le Mans in 1988 and 1990.
