This sort of car theft is on the increase.
Classics are easy to nick,easy to clone etc etc.The vin plates are only pop riveted on so all you need to replace ya old ****ter is another one the same colour from the other end of the country.
Perhaps we should fit Trackers.
I`m going to bolt a bike chain to the floor of the herald to wrap it round the steering wheel held in place with a big lock.....that should deter the casual toe rag

I heard about this, i thought it was un-true, the thing most classic cars have FS keys that any lock I know from when i worked at Cowies Austin Rover we did it all the time.

These cars would have been stolen to order i guess and they would have know the owners were in the carshow so had a few hours
