Some of you might have come along to our museum open day in 2008 which was our first one, last years was nearly overwelming for us by the shear numbers of people attending which were attracted by having more aircraft flying.
So this year there are two events, the owners of the airfield are running the big one and we are holding our own one on the Sunday,1st August,2010 which will be similar to the 2008 event which will include guided airfield tours by coach, military vehicles, stalls,BBQ etc
Just wanted to ask if anyone is interested in bringing their pride and joy to the open day to put on show, you would be very welcome. I just wanted to gauge the level of interest.
For those who dont know about Bent, waters it was a former U.S Air Force airbase from 1951 to 1993 which was at the forefront of the Cold War having been home to tactical nuclear bombers and A-10 tankbuster aircraft.
Bent, waters is all one word but it is 'edited' on here !!!

UPDATE......................... Things are coming together nicely now for the Open Day, if you could let me know your vehicle type and registration number i will get a exhibitors pass made out which will have two free tickets on it to enter the museum on the day. They will be issued at the gate, the event starts at 10am and goes on to 4pm There is plenty to see and do so it would be great if you could have your vehicle on show for longer the better (i know i shall be coming round for a look if i get time !!) You can enjoy a burger from the Woodbridge Air Training Cadets bbq or if you fancy something more healthy there will be jacket spuds available as well To find out more go to www.bcwm.org.uk
