Agood few of us ole Pirates are going again ( in the same place ) near the music venue, we will be there from 8am fri, till mon, hope to meet up with a few of you again for a good chat etc, looking forward to it, as we do every year !! see you all there cheers for now Steve.

The Turtlespeed bar DID have a topless barmaid last year & not surpisingly, Dell's after a repeat performance!!

I'll be very surprised if doesn't still have the photos on his phone!!

yes mate there are showers. There are some fairly close to our camp but you usually have to queue a little while even if you get down there early.

A cheap tent mate, you'll need a sleeping bag as well. I wouldnt sleep in the car - especially someone as old as you!

Cudley, please don't do what a friend did last weekend and turn up to the show at 10.30pm, without a sleeping bag. At least at the Nats Sainsburys is open 'til late and Tesco's isn't far away either.

If you can it get a cheap 2 man tent and a decent sleeping bag (argos do some nice, sleeping bags that don't break the bank, go for 2 season one it'll be warmer) and invest in one of those little gas stoves and small kettle (don't forget the tea bags or coffee etc

) You can buy food on site, but it tends to be quite expensive, better off nipping to the chippy on Ravenswood instead.

Most importantly have fun and enjoy your first time.

Then next year, it'll be Billing in June, followed by the Supernats end of July to break you in gently for the Nats again.

ok Dell thanks ill be in that long que . thanks for the addvice giggles. just got to get the tent ,got the sleeping bag, i used to use it alot when id row with my ex wife and i drive of in the trumpet and have a decent kipp.

we dont stock the bar Duds, just bring ya own when you 'call in' the rodders return for a few beers n a chat!
i'd recommend bringing large quantities for the weekend tho as its non stop drinking and eating - especially when mark is around!! haha
personally i'll be bringing around 60 cans of guinness and a bottle or 2 of vodka but there is a bar there in case i run out.

so i'll be there fri evening . straight after work. but im preesing to get it off,id rather be there from the start. ok Tony i'll bring some strongbows,budwieser and a couple of bottles of dark rum....oh and coffee for the morning after confuse

Hope they save you a decent spot to camp. I wouldn't worry about getting there Friday evening, as long as you are there for the evening and the rest of the weekend.
