Faultless drive back to Ipswich from london , then oooooops it wee'd on my drive when I pulled the handbrake , havn't had a look yet but the leak seems to be coming from the centre of the car right under where the handbrake is , ruptured brake pipe?
are there still turtlespeed stickers floating about? been a long time since I've had anything to display them in.
ideas about what to do with the car welcomed, as long as they don't involve scrapping it :)

i havent seen or dont remember seein the rover. im sure theres a few here from just about everywhere.but i havent seen enough of them to know anything about em.most i cant tell what make they are.i dont know anything about the engines or runnin gear either.ive seen alot of mg's and triumph's and did own the only hillman i remember seein back in 68.i have seen alot of the cars just watchin the movies and tv.but i know nothin about em.any old bentleys around?
Nice Herald you've got there young man. No doubt I'll reports of my parents seeing as it about when they venture down to their allotment just round the corner from you.
i had loads of heralds from the age of 17. easy to work on, get spares no problem. mine was so low it scraped its roll cage bolts on the speed bumps. i had twin su`s from a 1300 spitty, wheels are the same stud pattern vauxhall and moggy. we lowered the rear by turning the 3rd leaf upside down, that lowered it... flattened the spring. was so low it needed flexi pipe for the exhaust. loved that car. i met mitch whilst i was driving up the seafront in that.

did you know the roof unbolts, i used to drive one of mine like that, but kept the doors shut.... just incase. no good if you`re caught in the rain either. people think you`re mad in a downpour. lol i had a 948, two 1200`s, 12/50 two 13/60`s and a vitesse. i always fancied putting the coupe roof from a 948 on and a vitesse front. all parts are interchangable. used to fancy unbolting the roof off an estate and making a pickup.... oh memories

Got the car at work with me today, decided on the drive in that i'm going to have to fit a stereo of some sort :) and I'm going to have to do something to pep it up a little.
don't wan't to cut the door cards or anything for speakers, anyone know of any discreet speakers I can mount under the dash ?
mandi, think I'll leave the roof on, this is the UK afterall it could rain at any given moment. still don't know if the webasto roof leaks like a sieve (sp) yet either .

i always put spaeakers in the rear side area, think theres an ashtray there. i used box speakers to fill the recess.
