i normally follow f1, but i didnt watch monaco. I am just losing interest with all the off track politics and rule changes....I remember being in the pits watching James Hunt test the 'marlboro' maclaren' at brands hatch when i was a kid!!! Things have changed to much!!
Agreed,I hardly watch it anymore but it seems Hamilton's never driven a bad car,and always had the best,maybe if Button had hamiltons drive last year,he may well of been the star..

Same here,I can't stand all that hour long hype and kak before either,the "race" seems a big let-down,if there's a pass on the track then the commentators are astounded and sound like they're knocking one out

its been on for a while now barry so I have always taped it. loads of pedal feasts and engine explosions dont you just love it???
The nhra have said they might try to scale down the size of the engines and fuel in top fuel and funny cars due to the sad loss of scott kalitta last season.
Agreed that the hype makes the race a bore. They are all awesome drivers with massive skills behind the wheel but its all a big yawn. Button on pole, button away well, Button wins. Apart from a couple of pit stops thats it. You almost pray for a pit fire or a **** up of some sort to add interest. The only good thing is that it looks like we'll have a British champion 2 years on the bounce. Even moto gp is getting a little tedious at times. (I cant believe im actually saying that!!!!) The last two races with varying conditions added some spice though.

Yeah the big boys are just too damn fast now, 125/250 Moto GP is where it's at now,they're knocking hell out of each other,the last lap is usually heart in the mouth stuff!

I love the sound of the two strokes too. They should still be strokers all the way through, the days of the 500 monsters were awesome. 125s are absolute mayhem and i love every second of the races. Bradley is doin well too.
