what is everyones rides and plans for there cars? mine 1971 chevy nova 406 small block chevy powerglide tranny for now gonna change that out to a 350 turbo from tci gonna paint her sassy grass green its an old mopar color! http://www.aarta.com/pictures/images/aar/fj6/aar_fj6_fj6_11.jpg
I got an old Ford Popular (hence the name) which you would know in the US as an Ford Anglia. It had a 318 mopar lump from a '72 dodge police engine. It was a very dark blue with light blue metal flake and the flames were supposed to resemble 'california Kid' but ended up looking like ' hot wheels' stickers!!! I say had a 318 in it cos the car is sat on a trailer in bits at the moment!!! (another unfinished project).
I am running at the moment a Rover P5b which has been de bumpered (bumpers are what we call fenders!) and is running a small block ford from a thunderbird.
A 1958 Hillman Husky series 1 with a massive 1390cc engine
Use it every day in all weathers and its great for throwing in all my fishing gear. I might "rod" it soon and im looking for a bigger engine/box at the mo.
heyfolks, i had a little hillman like that back in 68.i dont remember the year but it did look like that one but it was red.i think it had a 4 speed colom shift, but im not sure.its ben along time.i didnt keep it long. traded it for a motorcycle.duhhh
Great little motor, doubt ill keep it long tho. Its pretty much finished so i now have nothing to tinker with. I am debating whether or not to drop a 1725cc in it for more go. If not then ill sell it and find another fixer-upper.

i've got a mk2 ford consul, 1703cc, three on the tree, bog standard apart from the wheels and a cd player, that i've had for a couple of years ( which is a year longer than i normally keep em ). hoping to get the clutch replaced, tickle the brakes into life, get it back on the road, thrash it for a couple of months and then sell it , and replace it with something american , pre 64, and v8...roll on summer.
Here's our collection: 1955 Ford Fairlane Victoria, running a Rover V8 and mildly kustomed.. Bought in 2007 after hubby wrote the daily off and decided you only live once.
1960 Humber Super Snipe, our Old Faithful. Totally stock, but we love it. Owned since 2004 and firmly a member of the family. Featured recently in a classic car magazine.
Another Humber, this time a slightly later Super Snipe by the name of Street Addict. Loads of history, don't to bore you with it now but it can be found elsewhere on here. Hopefully back on the road soon..... (the blue Snipe looks really low in that photo Kool)
We've also got a 1953 Humber Hawk in the garage under resto/kustom, which we bought in 1996.
