What a week, sold the Beetle today, man liked it at the Bug show last weekend and made me an offer (that I had to take) The caddy is off the road, no starter motor, getting it re-built new week fingers crossed, Why does this happen at the start of the show season!!!
triumphs running ok ,ive got a hydralic tappit issue but its not missfireing so im going to go for it sunday. this will be its longest drive since i put it together. i just pray i make it lol.

Well I learnt how to put a tent up today!! How many times have I done it before?? And also learnt that using aersols inside your tent rots the fabric it's made from........
Oh and Mikes done the track rod ends on the Snipe.

have you got a licence to drive a 7.5ton truck? you have to take a test these days to drive them dont you? us 'older' ones automaticaly got it on our licence in 19 somefing but you not been driving long have you?

How is everybody elses cars going ?
after going to the wet wheels day in the volvo with the overdrive kicking in and out at will so i left it off, so you can imagine the screeming it was doing . it now turnes out that ive got a blown head gasket worn out valve guides and posibly the rings to so ive just finished it off with that trip, but in the workshop i had another engine that was of a unknown condition but i guesed that it couldn't be werse than the one i was using so i put it in the car today and can say i verry happy with it, it's a 2.0L instead of the 1.8L bu i did put the twin carbs on it so its a bit more nippy than it was before......
Truxi should be off to a new home soon :( I'm moving house and can't take it with me. Still it leaves me free to buy something else so I 'Might' be able to make it to some shows this year.
