I reckon that the NSRA have now closed the door on a lot of people getting involved in the hobby. I`ve only been to one event & wont be going again even though the cruise was the best ever ! It appears that the cut off date for all vehicles in the club is `72 & that applies to the showfields as well.So then, even though `32 kit cars fresh out with all new crate engines, chassis n GRP bodies are allowed I`m not in a `70 Camaro and if I havn`t made sufficent modifications to my `62 Humber I`m not welcome to their events.
So, what happens if, for example, someone joined with a pre 72 car and said its a rod project. Where would the line be drawn as to how modified it has to be? If its not modified enough do they get booted off or treated like a child by the moderators telling them how to do it "properly" or else?
