I dont know road names but if you go up lawford hill and turn left, then take another left theres a school, and the show is on the field. There,ll probably be a big queue about 9am so you wont miss it.

Im happy to meet up. Just gotta find somewhere the non ipswich lot can find and is on the way so to speak. Best bet would probably be the A14/A137 junction. Theres a lay by just as you join the A137, we could meet there perhaps? Need to be there at 8am latest or its gonna be queued up at the entrance.

Any other suggestions?

manningtree high school colchester rd.
we could meet in the lay by near the A137 but it would make sense to meet the colchester lot nearer manningtree as they would be going out of their way by driving the length of the A137 then going back again! only place nearer i can fink of from the top of my head is the little industrial est Brantham that you can see from the bridge as you go into manningtree.

confuse Those coming from Colchester wouldn't go as far Brantham surely, as they would turn off it at Lawford, which is before Brantham??

Coming from Ipswich you'd meet up with them at the top of Cox's Hill, by the petrol station. (which by the way stocks Custom Car Mag wink, Mike used to get his copy there when he worked at Harwich)

dont complicate fings fiona, the industrial est is right on the suffolk essex border, its right next to manningtree and about a minutes drive from the top of cox's hill. there'll be too many of us to meet up in the petrol station!!!confuse

Yep. Went round fi and mikes to meet up for the xmas run. We had muffin with Fi and a poke and a prod with Mike. (round street addict that is!!)

Fis muffins are wonderful and i would forgo my diet for a day to eat a few. smile.gif

Manningtree car show Matt. it's primerily a classic car show but they do let modern (?) cars in.  It would be good to meet beforehand so we can all park together but you will need to be there early as the queue in gets very long.

chevy passed its mot on wednesday. started it sunday and it cut out in reverse , will try to check the plugs and sort it out but will try to get the car ready for the manningtree show. good memories of this show as we have attended for the last 2 years.

so who's going to meet who where ? the people around colchester and the south could either meet at tollgate or maccy d's cowdry ave. opposite cowdry centre or are there any other suggestions ?
then meet up with the people from ipswich as tony says the ind. est or how about the station car park??

Yes manningtree station car park is a good shout mark, shouldnt be many people using it that early on a sunday morning.

Manningtree station is easy to find. Dont go too fast tho cos ya might go up the overpass an jump halfway up cox hill hahaha. its quite a steep ramp that one.
