went to start my shogun after months of it being off the road and the battery was flat. tried to charge it up and set the immobiliser off, wouldnt shut off with the hand held remote, had to completely disconnect the battery, before the neighbours went ape!!! Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to how I can either disconnect the immobiliser so I can get the car moving again? or anything I can do to be able to shut the alarm off once the battery is connected again. I need help!!! thanks
Had a look on the shogun / pajero owners club forum and found the following. If you try and disconnect the immobiliser the car wont start and plays havoc with the electrics. One of the guys pulled the immobiliser key thingy apart and there was only two wires in it, one of which was loose. Sorted the wire and its fine now. not much help but ya never know.

on some of them the immobiliser box is under the drivers seat, theres 2 white or yellow wires going into the module box - Put a link wire between the two and turn the key should fire up and immobiliser will be disconnected :)
We had one these a few years back ours was the 3000 version we used to haul the bangers with it, good motor
hi sorry to be a pain but can anyone tell me what the tyre pressure on a shogun should be as mr pop just sticks what he thinks in and now the tyres squeek when i go round corners ...or could it just be the heat out here on the tyre ..im thick when it comes to sorting my car..its a 3000 if that helps.. thank you x
