They're not so bad if you dont get a V12, the later facelift 4 litres are a bit better. My mate had a V12 once (for about 1 month) did do 150mph though! It was a private test track honest, not the A12!
bloke across the road from me has one... must be 2 or 3 years hes had it now... with nothing going wrong as far as im aware... not driven every day, but every now and then.. does make a nice noise..
I keep lookin at em on ebay and i honestly think in a few years the good ones that are left will start to rise in value. Thats the funny thing with Jags, they depreciate like hell until they get ragged about, ruined, rot away, then the good ones rise in value and buyers fight for them. Good series 3's are rising slowly. The XJS is such a design classic that good unabused early pre-HE's are already starting to command money. Not masses granted but still thousands rather than a few hundred. The V12's are mainly bullet proof, but when they do go wrong.....kaching ££££££££££ so i know what you mean Mitch!!! Saying that, heres my dream XJS. Early pre-HE with Kent alloys. MMMMMMMMMM.
