I have spoke to the people at the diner and the suggestion is next Sunday lst February from 12pm noon lunchtime informatl get together. They have offered a free drink with any meal if you mention the forum and Jane.

Please post here if you are interested as they would like to know some idea of number for staffing.

I go to spain and you organise the xmas run, I have been doing nothing for the last few sundays and this weekend I am off to spain and you organise something.

Is it me...should I be taking the hint!!

My cars off road at the mo due to a jamed throttle,damaged a valve and valve seat. its going back together so if its done by sunday il be there. hopfuly see you all there.

  • From the pictures I've seen from the opening day and odd comments
  •  I think it's still like a Little Chef inside! Maybe the new owners are short on funds to make it what they want. Either way it sounds like their hearts on getting something going for car nuts hopefully on a regular basis. That in itself for me is enough to at least give it some support and take a look on sunday when other like minded people are there. Even if the place is crap it's a run out and a chance to meet up, better than falling asleep in front of the telly.

ill be there ,only in the dodge ,got the triumph back together and running sweet,just the small mater of an mot,insurance,and tax ooops its only been off the road 3 mths and its all run out. oh well il bring it next meet. see you all sunday. il be the one in the michigan plates black dodge avenger sxt.

im only 20 mins away from the 127, diner i live in south fambridge.thanks for the offer to meet up bumper.il see you in there.long johns not for me , got some for scotland and never wore them ,so so uncomfortable. how women wear tights god only knows lol.

Yep ,i was there on my jack jones. yes there were some nice rods there and the coooooolist orange gto ive ever seen.there were people from another custom car forum nsra or somthing similar, i was maxed out on coffee at the time lol,i was trying to keep warm.i also meet a guy from retro rides, he had a morris minor with a lancia lump, nice chap.he hadn,t heard of turtle speed till i told him about it.food was ok ,service was a bit slow, not that i want to moan im just being honest.could do with some heating to.i would go back there for a meet. they are just finding there feet so good luck to them and i wisah them my best. have to admit going in with an ace cafe t shirt wasn,t the smartest move dooooo.oh well, i live n learn. hope to see you all on the next one.p.s no pics sorry forgot camera.

il be there in the triumph and not in an opposing cafes t shirt lol.il say hi next time ,i did ask the cook if there were any turtle speed people there ,he didnt know.and i did ask a few people. its just like going out on a blind date lol,as i dont know what you all look like yet.just checked the cluds pics yep i saw you and your lady in the corner elmo.
