Brilliant book, if only history had been this interesting at school
Wow!! That book looks great!
You all know I'm not a 'car person' like you guys, more of a keen follower (I'm learning all the time tho' - last year I was learning the major "makes" as we walked what seemed miles at the shows, this years it's makes & associated models!) ... but that's the kind of book that could help me in my (very amateur) photography at shows! Get ideas/inspiration for some clever arty farty shots to put on Turtlespeed!
The photo's in the book were all taken in the mid-late 1950's and it is really interesting. Most of us in the UK Kustoms have got it and the pages are wipe clean too!!!!
I'll try to remember to bring it to the next show, so you can have a look.
I know this is a bit sad, but I quite fancy one of the fire engines!!!
Its not sad look what i got, i had 4 of them, only got 1 now Mrs said i had to sell 3 them. Then i could have a Apache so done what i was told like a good boy

We used to have a fire engine several years ago, was a Commer Avenger with a Ben Copper of Claydon body.
^^ This is the beastie. MRT 560 was the rego and it was based during it's life on the run at Bury St Edmunds if I remember correctly and then was used for several years as a factor fire engine somewhere in Suffolk.
