Me Bug truck

Most of you have now seen me truck, for those that havent, see attached piccy.
Now, as most of you also know, i flog cars like i change me skids, but even though i put Buck (bug/truck,...see what i did there??? see what i did??? hehe) up for sale, im kinda glad he's still here cos i do like him a lot. Trouble is wiv me is once somethins finished, i get bored and need somethin else to tinker wiv. So even though Buck is in superb condition, i wondered about a colour change from the Cadburys Twirl colours. (or L.A Lakers, sounds a bit tougher biggrin )
Any ideas? Satin black wiv flames? Purple candy wiv lime green scallops?
Also i want to change the wheels from those 70's Ford Alleycats to a set of slut mags. Now, i know a nice man who has a set of sluts which are Chevy stud pattern. My studs are 4x130. Does anyone have any ideas how i could get them to fit, ie: adapters, drilled centres etc? I need big wheels on the rear cos the ones on there at the mo look a bit small an girly.
Any other ideas would be great, id love to attempt a roof chop but as i dont have a garage i darent undertake such a task. Also i dont fink me weldins up to spec so i reckon that ones outta the window.

satin black would look good. but i certainly wouldnt attempt to chop it! as you say, you havnt got a garage plus its not a straight forward job to do unless you really know what your doing.
As for use of garage/workshop you can always mine. we still gotta do paint on my consul and zody as well wink

Beetles use a transaxle so a rear axle is outta the question so i reckon spacers/adapters will be the way to go.

what im really after is somethin around 8 to 10 width on the rear, but i also want four matching rims, maybe 6's on the front. I dont like the alleycats much, although they make a change from empi's etc, and i want rid of the whole set.
Thanks for the offer tho.
