Now I know why it's called the Brass Monkey Run.

Brrrr! It was blinking cold, but a Sniper & I had a great time.

Thanks to those that organised the event and to the mean truckers that followed us home, until they got bored and deafened us as they over took us and to Mark & Jo for sticking behind us until we turned off to tuck the car up in the barn . biggrin biggrin Nice truck by the way Mark

Photos are downloading and will appear as if by magic later.........

Just to saw how cold it was:

Jerry wore long trousers or maybe Santa brought them for him this Christmas or maybe the landlady at The Ram told him she wouldn't serve him if he didn't cover up wink

Before we left Ipswich we had to scrap the ice from the Fairlane inside and out!

Ok less chat and more photo's.

Nice truck wink.gif

Very nice!

and there's a few more from Brandon before we headed off to Swaffham where we meet up with some more people and then off to Wells.

Some old fart got in my way whilst trying to take photos. Typical!

The sun was starting to get quite low, so sorry for the poor photo's.

2 pairs of socks including a pair of hiking socks and 4 tops and my thick coat and I was still cold.  Was it worth it??? Will we do it again next year?

Stupid questions, course we will all being well. smile smile smile

So, you've all seen what you missed now.

Yeah, sorry about the one with Jerry's legs. COuld have been worse, he could have worn his shorts again.

The sun was a right pain, the glare was nasty, but it least it defrosted the rear window on the way there.

Biggest turn out yet, their events just keep getting bigger each year.

Well done guys!

just to emphasize how fun it was today!
...okay... now that thats done... on to pics :)

arrived at the ram at 9 to find just a couple of cars waiting for us.. but with in minuets, the place was packed.. we could tell it was gonna be fun from then :)

rottenpop2 caught many peoples eye. usually had a crowd around it.. though i was lucky enough to get in there early

(even more turned up after this. so many cars that the comunity police lady had to ask us to leave before she started handing out tickets. oops!)

on our way...

..we got reactions...

arrived at Swaffham and there was a couple of bonnets raised...

once we'd had a bit of a chin wag... it was time to set off again..

arrived at Wells-next-to-the-sea and there was plenty of photo opportunities for the budding photographer.

and again.. crammed it solid!

Sniper and Fi, nice to meet you at last!

Thanks again to everyone who made it.. you made it into what it is!

Looking forward to next year!

(video in the making as well for all those who like moving pictures :) )

cheers
-Liam

Daisyduke & Taildragger from the UKK do the Relabilty Run most years starting out from the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire in their Model T pick-up. Sahme they live so far away, otherwise they probably would have come on Sunday.
