went for a ride round yesterday ended up at mersea popped into tom newman had a chat and a cuppa then thought time to go tried to get off the island but the bloody tide was in had to wait an hour for the water to go while i was waiting i thought of CHEVY saying come to mersea (good job i wer'nt in a rush) the only thing to see was the school kids wading through the strood now thats the way to wash a school uniform
Mark It's worrying that you stood watching schoolgirls getting wet! Also Thought pics of the truck were a bit dissapointing, not much rust!! It looks the same year as Damions' but yours looks a longbed? - original 283 or a later swap engine? There's also another Mark in Ipswich area with a similar truck, maroon in colour, goes to a few local shows, Tailspin (How are ya?)may know how to reach him if needed. way cool truck mate, bring it to the next AHRA meet for a tire kicking session.
the sad thing is i actually waited for the tide to go so only the road was wet when i crossed
jerry yes it is tidy with not much rust and yes its a long bed also think its running a 327 but not sure got to get the eng no.s hopefully i'll be at the next ahra meeting in it so you can take the p##s not unless you fancy coming to the queens head sun. 30th
Will try and do the 30th Mark, haven't had a run out in the truck for a few weeks. See what the weather does if not see you at the Black horse. Try and do the brass monkey run Dec.28th had a good time last year, lotsa rods etc.
