Gates open at 09.00, anyone arriving after 10.30 will not be allowed in, as there will be no one to escort you through the base after this time. All occupants of vehicles will need photo ID (I am currently ascertaining whether this applies to minors as well), for security clearance, so don't forget it, or again you will be denied admission. The people at the base are asking for people to stay until 16.00 if possible.
The original invitation to the event was via the American Auto Club International (AACI) of which I am a member, therefore the area assigned to our party is likely to be marked 'AACI'. As honorary members for the day please be on your best behavior
Much to my disappointment, my selfish son has decided to get married that day, so I cannot attend myself........bummer !!!
All cars must be at RAF Mildenhall front gate starting 900 and NLT 1030. If you come after 1030, there will be noone to escort you to the show
therefore you have made the trip for nothing, unfortunately Please anticipate traffic for the drive-there will be no exceptions.
Please remember to obey speed limits and wear seat belts. Also make sure your road tax is up to date!!!
You will need a photo ID for yourself and passengers (from age 9 and up) in order to gain access to base
While on base, you will not be able to purchase anything from stores on base or purchase petrol.
You will be able to use the community center facilities (game room, cyber zone, purchase coffee at the coffee shop, etc)
You are also able to purchase food from the various establishments on base- taco bell, burger king, baskin robbins, cinnabon, etc. They do take pounds!
No pop-up tents, gazebos, awnings, etc. No loud music, profanity, or alcohol will be permitted in the car show area.
You are not allowed to sell anything on base.You can pass out your personal information at your own discretion.
Absolutely No photography is allowed on base, however photos can be taken during the car show. No live taping.
You will be escorted from the front gate to our car park at the community center, and directed to your area for parking.
We ask that cars remain parked until the end of the show.We ask if you bring passengers or animals, that you are responsible for them.
Passengers signed on base will be held to these same rules as the driver.
Children under the age of 9 are not allowed to be without a parent or guardian at any time on base.
Each car signed on base must be a show car and can not be a transport car.
Each driver will get one vote for each competition. Votes can not be made for your own vehicle. Voting ends at 2pm
Trophies will be given out at 230pm.
At the completion of the Car Show, we ask that you are packed up and leave base no later than 4 pm.
