The Pop


Some people asked why the pop wasnt done and why I didnt want to talk about it.  So I took a couple of pics when I got home from the Nats.

Looks lovely with its twisred chassis and body!!!!

scrap metal is fetching good money at the moment, and if you carefully peel them flame stickers off then you could sell them on ebay! ashamed





Only joking mate, i couldnt resist that.
It is a shame to see it just sitting there, just dont set any targets as to when you think it'll get done, we all know it takes 4x longer than we estimate anyway.
  just stick at it for another couple of years and it'll all come together eventually.
So what is actually holding you up?

Thanks Mandi but I dont think I will touch the pop for at least another year, lost heart in it at the moment so will concentrate on playing with the rover!!!

Simon when we gonna see your Pop back on the road fella its been too long, If you want a hand getting anything done let me know im always available to lend a hand, I know we had our differences but would be really good to see your motor back out on the street where it belongs ( besides that dusts doing nothing for that lovely shiny paintjob ) let us know if you need any help matey

The barn down at mildenhall with all the cars sat in it ( sadly a lot of those ended up at the worldfinal at Foxhall ) although many more were bought for spares or resto

Unfortunately the guy who moved it, caught the side as he moved it out so it need repainting now any way. A very long term project me thinks......if i can ever be arsed with it again.

Sounds like a certain '53 Hawk. Someone seems to lost interest in that, mind time is a major factor for him and I guess it's probably the same for Si.
