Big Thanks to all you guys for taking me under your wing and Mitch for selling me the Hillman! Getting the trophy was the icing on the cake to an Awesome weekend I cant wait till the Next one! I'll post Photos soon as possible biggrin

had a brill time at the nats pity it goes so quick. nice to have met matt and well done mate. just got the bar there in time hope it went down ok with everyone, just got to get me liver and kidneys back to normal

had a fantastic time. Me Julie and the kids loved all of it. Thanks to everyone who helped me with the camaro over the weekend, cheers nick for help with the starter motor and for scott who gave me some rocker cover gaskets. But it looks like the leak was coming from the steering box as when I got home the resevoir was bone dry and on full lock, once more fluid was put in, it pissed all over the floor.
ouch my wallet hurts already.
with the new starter to fit and trying to source a steering box and get it fitted it looks as my season is over.
Still we did the nats and will do it again

an awsum weekend... just fun all the way...a big well done to matt fantastic...luca bike broke down on the bridge and had to be carried home , nothing that carnt be mended,

Well I survived my 1st Nats!

Had a fantastic time & taken away some great memories like teaching Dell how to speak 'Northern' and driving around the site in the Monte... and I can't drive!! The lack of sleep and itchy gnat bites will soon be forgotten!!

What a great show of cars, and lots of noise

A record breaking cruise, fun with the boys

Great nights and days with our friends and the car

But one night was memorable down at the bar

Sorting the ammo for sergeant dell

A tank is required for the task from hell

Some front some back so none are missed

Then from out of the blue comes someone whos pissed

Where are you from do you know anyone here

I came, unzipped and just appeared

Mrs P sent him off with a fit of laughter

Was it a vision, an alien or something from the here after?

The weekend also saw a revelation of the one almighty

Whos head and ideas have gone all flighty

Its was late , lots of wine and beers

Telling jokes and quoting python oh dear scottys in tears

The kids loved it too, water fights, cream pies and foam

No burnouts or speeding, officials start to moan

Got one, they say holding a five up high

To the limping Camaro being towed by Si

A thank you to all for your help and advise

To have had a healthy car would have been nice

But we cant have it all, a good time was had indeed

With all our mates and wives from the great Turtlespeed!!
