Having had a long chat with Jo, we decided we really should support our old and local club, so came to Mersea instead of Billing.
From all the members of Turtlespeed who are not members of the AHRA I would like to thank Owen, Chris and all of the AHRA for such a good show. Considering the problems with dates etc, there was a fantastic turn out and the band were great.
Jo said how nice it was to see some more of the wives coming to the shows and I have to agree, as who else is going to drive us home once the beer tent opens!!!
Nice pics looks like you guys had a great time I really wanted to try and make it to this one unfortunately I couldn't get my new ride (Mitch's old Hillman) Insured in time! I'm sure there will be plenty more shows that I'll get to meet you lot tho as I cant wait to get out in my new toy!
yep it was an excellent day out, and i would like to second what Simon said about thanking Owen and Chris and the rest of AHRA for putting on such a great show especially after the problems they've had. there was a heck of a lot of cars turned up and it good to catch up with friends. lastly, i couldnt be arsed to take many pics but after seeing that lot i needed have bothered anyway!
congrats to owen,chris, barry and all who helped put on the show today. shame about the weather. nice motors on the showfield and we came away with a top 8 trophy (cheers AHRA). I now have a plum crazy challenger on the shelf!!!!!!! best stand goes to the ahra for the christmas tree. nice work andy. looking forward to more shows with the usual suspects this year
lovely day out, good people ,good motors ,good music ,glad i took me own beer though cos they dont do smoothflow. shame the sun dint come out but at least it didnt rain. thanks for the lift chucky ( and the kentucky )
A good day, and a good little show... Well done to everyone from the AHRA who put in alot of hard work in to make it happen.. was nice to catch up with all the usual suspects.!!
very enjoyable day well done to ahra they done well in the time they had shame the weather wasnt a litle bit warmer only it got a bit chilly in the buggy
