For Sale !! 1966 mk11 Sceptre


To many project's "( acording to the wife ) "
So for sale is my 1966 humber sceptre mk 11, it has 71k on the speedo,
1725cc, manual box, has had fitted new plugs, points, coil and carb.
passenger sill is damaged, but a new sill is provided with the car,
it needs also a small amount of welding, needs a new carpet and the brakes could do with bleeding...

not asking a fortune !!! make me a sensible offer !!!!

I know I want it , but I think my Mrs would kill me. I'll have a word with her tonight, can you PM me with the sort of figure you would wan't so I can put my case forward as I have no Idea what it's worth.


Points for my argument, Tax free, Cheap Insurance, looks better than my Mazda, she can drive it

in my experience they never go for it , so i tend to wait and see what she thinks after i have bought it ,

i'm a firm believer in having what you want cos life is too short.

I'm not a huge fan of Sceptre's, but they do have a certain charm. After all they were going to be the Sunbeam Rapier until the men at Rootes decided it would make a better Humber than a Sunbeam.

We know where to get the spares from, the local organiser is a really nice young lady (wonder who that is?)

Oh and Mitch and Stevie had 1.
