yep! it certainly did! you're a rum boy Steve, "do you wanna nip round for a cuppa?" he say's, when i get there and see a shining black zodiac i just had to have it....... thats 2 projects and a pop now! at least the zodiac doesnt need much and me consul is almost there at last-i had a real good day working on the consul yesterday. With work to do at home as well i'm gonna be burnt out by the time the shows start!
you feckin $hitarse, you better not put a curse on that car!! the only car i've ever broken down in is the consul when i bought it, i've had a few minor problems along the road with previous cars in the past but that was the first car i've had that totally broke down! there was a funny occasion 10 years or more ago when me and bod had crammed into my old 105e and went to the NATS when it was in Essex and the car suddenly conked out just as i got to a roundabout, bod jumped out to give me a push and i managed to fire it back to life again and actually drove off with the passenger door wide open and bod (a younger slightly fitter bod!) chasing me down the road and i'm screaming at him to hurry up and get in, i think i was in 2nd gear as well by then!!
It's got the same problem as the Imperial that is sitting on our drive: letters missing from the bonnet.
i've got a nice new set of gold plated letters to go on that bonnet!
For a moment I thought you'd been up to the barn and taken the ones off Nessie's Zody, mind you he hasn't been up there since Mike put the Fairlane in there back in November. Bless his little cotton socks.
A younger fitter Bod?? is that when he looked like Leo Sayer
leo sayer ..i always had meself down as more of a bodie in the professionals, and if my memory serves me correctly , tailspin was a three foot tall gob****e, in short trousers , with a line of snot running outta his snout . happy days.
I will have you know that was a 4 foot string of snot.As you may have guessed me and bod go way back. Pre puberty infact when go garts came before tarts and the world was a simpler place. How about starsky from the dynamic duo or are we just talking big hair
yeah you mighta bin 4 foot, i know your eyes were just over the top of the old wire council fence in mels back garden.. go carts before tarts... i like that.
