Im nearly finished putting my beetle engine back together and ive hit a problem. When i went to fit one of the exhaust tubes the studs were so old and shyte that they wouldnt tighten up. After trying numerous ways of getting the studs out, Tailfin lent me his stud extractors before i totally mullered them, but being so old they just sheared clean off. So, off i went and bought a tap and die set. It was a pile of shat and stripped the threads off the fu*kin taps!!! So i bought another set and it did the same cos they were cheap shyte. Does anyone local have a decent quality tap and die set i can borrow please? I'll even let you do it for me if you ask nicely (in other words im worried about mullering your set)!!! Im soooooo close to getting this engine back in and im getting more and more pi**ed off cos its either a stupid problem like this one or im waiting for parts off ebayers who dont like sending their items out for three weeks at a time.
