An indian chief is asked by his indians if winter this year will be cold. He looks at the sky but he cant tell for sure, so he tells them "yes the winter will be cold, go collect some firewood". The next morning the indians ask the chief if they need to collect more firewood. Taking a chance the chief says "yes winter will be harsh, collect more wood". While his indians are collecting, the chief runs to the edge of the forest to the phone booth and calls the weather centre. He asks if winter will be cold, and the weatherman says "yes winter will be cold this year". Pleased with himself he calls the indians together the next morning and tells them to collect more wood. Once again the chief goes to the phone booth and calls the weather centre to make sure. "Yes the upcoming winter will be very cold" comes the reply. This goes on for a few days and each time the chief is told winter will be very very cold this year. The chief tells his indians to collect all the firewood they can find. While they collect the chief rings the weather centre. "Yes this winter will be extremely cold, in fact were expecting the worst winter ever" "How can you be so sure"? asks the chief. The weatherman replies "Cos the indians are collecting wood like crazy"!!!
