Gotta get my garage sorted. It's full of woodworm and has got to come down and be rebuilt. Just hoping we have a mild and dry October (famous last words!)

An autumn get together sounds good too Dell. What have you in mind ?

regards

Barry

Get the cosworth lump fitted, get my mate Andy to fabricate a new inlet manifold for some carbs, hook up my megajolt ECU to run the Ford EDIS system. get a few bits welded, Fit my digital dash display, lower it front and rear, fit a new stereo (can't live without a bit of psychobilly playing away)
fit new numberplates which i'll order from Si when the time comes, and fit nice new numberplate lights to illuminate it.

Then get it MOT'd and be out and about next year

IF all goes to plan that is :)

yeh, good luck with that Martin, should be great when done.

i've just been on egay and bought meself a bottom rad hose as i am desperate for one, with less than 2 minutes to go it was at £6.09 and after my little flurry against 2 others i finally won it at a total cost of £30.59!!! christ, i hope its gold plated and he delivers it in person, fits it, and supplies the coolant too!!

all i need now is a carb, and there just so happens to be one on egay wink

I MAKE NO APPOLOGY FOR THE LACK OF CAR RELATED MUMBO-JUMBO IN THIS POST. wink.gif I don't do oily bits.

My plan is to try to finish Lizzie quilt that I've been working on since she was a few days old! 4 and a hlaf years on I think I ought to get it finished. Then finish a few more UFO's as us quilters say.

So that's what I intend to do while Mike is dreaming and planning Kustoms.

Thanks Dell and Chuckypop, I'm just hoping all my hours of planning and reading up will pay off. the only thing i'm not sure on yet is which carbs to use, thinking possibly weber 38 dgas. I would love to use bike carbs but am unsure of the setup for those.
any carb reccomendations greatly appreciated

Don't know if it's the same one or whether it's still for sale but there was a '62 Hawk on the PVHCC classifieds a while ago.

Sniper & Bitzer are busy on their winter project (or should that be mine). They are fitting a new kitchen for me. Ain't that sweet of them.

Cheers boys and I promise to stop being rude to you both for a little while.

The only thing I can say I'm doing with any certainty, is our Brass Monkey Run on December 29th to the north Norfolk coast.

Hey 66Chev...did that last year...was a great day out and a brilliant cruise down to the coast...BUT...take wet weather clothing...i got caught on the way home and HotRod Widow, myself and our littleun got drenshed on the way home...now we arnt talking a bit wet here, we are talking full on soaked to the grundies wet...20mph down the motorway cos we couldn't see a fecking thing.... the year before they had 6 inches of snow....so enjoy yourself.

Now to bring this back on topic...i have just spent over a grand on some go faster stuff from the states for next years drags and have a few top secret things planned for the winter...I would like to say more but I cant....second thoughts...Wont...lol...might even throw a bit of paint on her....probably more satin black though....dont like shinney, dont like polishing and dont want to be scared of using her in anger.... Might even get some pie crust slicks from R&R imports to solve my traction problem... well thats me done.

Mum's the word!

We were without water last weekend for just over 24 hours, but it was worth it. The kitchen is looking sweet as a nut. Got 1 more unit to make up once we've finished the plastering, then it's wall tiles and lino and gloss paint (to be done when kiddies are at school or in bed!)

Slightly off topic, but I'm hoping to finish Lizzie's quilt by Christmas. Photo's to be posted once it's done. Just under 5 years loving work. smile.gif
