Got me consul home today, fanks to mrbowtie for fixing it, it now runs perfectly He only found 1 or 2 probs with it, a split diaphram in the carb blocked jets in the carb the mixture on carb was incorrectly adjusted the fuel filter was fitted the way round wrong the timing was 32 degrees out incorrectly fitted points incorrectly adjusted points the wrong spark plugs fitted! old worn plug leads a loose air filter some dodgy loose wiring on the coil mrbowtie also stripped and cleaned the distributer and stripped and cleaned the carb And just to top it off, i brought the old girl home and my mrs saw it for the first time in the flesh, and she likes it!! Sorry for taking away from your garden mrsbowtie, i know how attached to it you were getting Am looking forward to taking the old girl to the NATS now.
Lets face it tony its better looking than the tub of lard that normally sits out side the house and thats decaying quicker than any ford!!! Its a good job Im so much slimmer, I would hate to look like that!!
