My new ride

Well as some of you know i got a new ride yesterday, a long old haul home on a hot day stuck on the M25 for hours in traffic the old girl didnt like and we had to detour into a local town somewhere and try to fix it, after tinkering she fired up and away we went again, got thru the car park (M25) and just as i was gonna go thru the tolls, she completley gave up on me! So with 1000's of cars now dodging round me i had to get breakdown assistance to tow my fix or repair daily which towed me to a holding area nearby.
After a couple of hours i got it fired up again and drove thru the tolls and even managed to get on the A12, before it was running rough again and we finally decided to tow her the rest of the way home. I left my house at 6.30am and got home 6.15pm!
Thanks Mark for coming from Colchester to dartford and towing me home.
Thanks Bod for coming with me to get the old bus and for waiting at Dartford.
And thanks to Simon, Dell, and Dave for the offers of help, and of course Dave who now has my consul parked on his driveway for repairs! we think the problem may be the petrol pump but i'll keep you all upto date!

so you know Johnny sommerset! i'm well happy with the car even tho it's running a little rough! i've got plans for the car, nothing drastic but mainly a good overhaul and a few cosmetic changes.
Yes he's driving around in a little red datsun sunny or cherry whatever it is? consul or datsun? mmmmmmmm weirdface

Well, the old girl is still not running as she should, mrbowtie has found several little niggly problems with her and she still wont play properly. i have ordered a few service parts for her and i have every faith in mrbowtie to get the old fing  up and running like a ............er... old un in time for the NATS!
seeing as there were a few heads under the bonnet me and stevie took time to get the old girl looking a little tidier,

mitch its sort of what i mean but without the blood bits...i think a car should have a face to it , which gives it character...this car has heaps of that but just needs that certain something...i hope this makes sence...
