I'd have to say it depends....

For looks I'd go for an early 60's drag style....front end in the air, weedburners, spindle mounted Ansen or Halibrands, Moon tank, Hilborn etc etc. I've seen everything from Pops to Deuces to Willys done in that style and it just gives me the horn.

But if we're talking Trad rods then a standard ride-height '32 Roadster will do me just fine, thanks!

depends if its a rat rod or not.  pretty paint and chrome normal ride height.  I would rather red oxide, chopped, lowered and channeled.

i know what you mean but evan a loward rat rod like the one in the pic i feel does not look wright and still needs to be at standard ride hight to look good

and the black 5 window coup rod looks just fine at that ride hight
to me that is anyway
