Seeing as Mitch moaned because I couldn't be arsed to post these photo's, here are the photo's of our caravan .
Before the interior was stuck in the 1960's, in good condition considering it's age, but then it is a Safari: the Rolls Royce of caravans!
It's a shame that I didn't photograph the curtains! They were green and cream, went beautifully with the orange cushions.
The outside had been attacked by brambles and birds poo.
Cor, I wish we had that much room on the drive now!
Now, please remember that this project is far from finished.

The walls are going to be painted in a warm cream and eventually the carpet will be replaced. Then it's sort the plumbing, electrics and make a table for the front unless we are able to find one. Oh yeah and get a new potta-potty thingy.
I have bought a retro Melmex tea set in powder blue, now I'm looking out for matching bowls and dinner plates and other period accessories.
So there you go, it's a bit different to Mitch's Diner.
Oh and Mike's fitted a towbar to the Volvo, he's just got to do the electrics next weekend and we're ready to rock & roll!!
Oh, nearly forgot! I'm on the look out for some proper Safari glasses. Safaris were supplied with 6 sherry and 6 wine glasses for the ****tail cabinet over the kitchen area. The last complete set I saw on Ebay went for £40!!! So I might have to wait for those or use my plastic glasses. (Sorry Jo Jo!!)
looks lovley fi...you need some fluffy cushions in there...did the turtle go walk abouts , cos on some of your photos hes there then hes gone....if that the bad head from the accident mike with with a dent bless....looking forward to seeing the van at the nats...any help give me a call...
Why a couple of number plates , you only need a yellow one for the caravan . Anyway humber outing with caravans are we gonna have one ? ps what paint did you use ?
si brought a caravan and took me on holiday to cornwall ...ha it rained so much the bloody thing nearly ended up as a cannal boat... they had to break the dam at the end and people where floating on their lilo's in their tents..some kids where body surfing in the middle of the field...yes another great hol with si......
