Mitch told me Minor rims wiff fit my Viva HC. Ive since been told that Cortina, Capri wheels will also fit. Is this right? It would make finding wheels a lot easier. Unless Mitch has some he'll flog me?

Sorry Stevie, no ford wheels will fit, i think ford are 4 x 108mm and viva and moggy wheels are 4 x 4" or 101.2mm. I've only got those smoothies now and wont part with them as i've had them re-drilled to accept ford/humber and still moggy/vauxhall. and i know i could never replace them as no company i've found can supply 4 stud smoothies, i'll ask a mate tomorrow he's a vauxhall nut and mechanic who lives locally.
Mitch is spot on - Vivas are 4 x 4", Ford are 4 x 4 1/4".
Watch out for people trying to sell you Chevette / Kadett and later GM fitting rims, they're 100mm PCD which isn't really close enough. Made that mistake with mine.
Banded Magnum / Firenza / Viva GLS Rostyles would be awesome.... Don't know about the offset, but 4" PCD is the same as Minis, so you should be able to get cheap 7x13 Minilites as well!

that would be good. Standard wheels painted black without hub caps on the front and wide slot mags on rear, that'd look tough and with that 1256 powerplant you'll need those wheels to make it grip down the quarter mile1
pm sent back Mitch never under estimate the power of a 1256. can you not remember it at the nats a couple of years ago when the viva was pink and had thrush? i smoked it all over the place (until the pads fell out)
