All being well going to drive to Gloucestershire Saturday to look and then if its good got to find a reasonable Recovery company, to bring it to me ! Not being local to this area for that long so got no contacts with a truck ! Beeen offered a trailer but the car is mahhhhooooosive and the trailer would be dwarfed.
Dont think so ! Its got no MOT , And im away on that weekend. I need to get it here and sort it for MOT. When my hand gets better ! Which is gonna be weeks & weeks unless everybody comes round my gaff and we Have a session of "Pimp my Ride" Brantham Style ! PMSL And then we can all pile in and be Ghetto gangsters for a while Drive by water pistol shootins and Ting !!
I have contacted Gareth and hes trying to sort it for next week. Ive got to ring him on Friday evening, i spoke to him today and now next weeks looking iffy ! so im getting desperate ! I need to get the car to Dunstable by wednesday
Got it at my mates workshop in Dunstable, One head off as its not firing correctly ? Thought maybe had sticky lifters on two cylinders. Found two valve springs on upside down and two valve seats collapsed ! Who ever did the work to take it out to 500Ci seems to have had a bad day when putting it back together. So head is being repaired and new inserts stuck in ! Should be back together by the end of next week ?? Then MOT and all being well (Fingers crossed) will make the Ipswich show at the end of August ! Ill keep you informed.
2 of the valve inserts in the left head had collapsed, then the new ones were to big and then 2 more were iffy ! so that head is completely reworked now, Just waiting for the parts which means the head will be rebuilt and back with my mate mid week, hes away for a few days from the middle of the week. So the chances of getting it re built running & MOT then collected from Dunstable by Sunday are Zip !
SOMEDAY SON ALL THIS WILL BE MINE!!
