I would like to invite all comers to this One Day Charity Show and am asking you guys for a big show of support If you can come in a Rod then fantasticif you cant then come in a daily and help us raise some money for a worthy cause we have a parking area just for Rods and a parking area for the public in their dailys so there is no excuse.

Firstly a bit about the cause we are collecting for.

The Haven House Foundation provides short-term respite care, and hospice care, for children aged 0 19 years who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition; they also provide practical and emotional support for their families.

.but in a nutshell we are raising money so that these kids can have as good a time as possible in their final days....these are terminally ill kids and I feel there is nothing more tragic. So if we can make it a bit more tolerable for these kids and parents then it has to be a plus, doesnt it.

This is going to be a family event and we are going to try and get some other activities going on at the same time so if you are interested in taking a stall (limited space available) then let me know the price will probably be £20 for a 6 foot pitch and you can have more than one if you like. All charges for stalls go to the charity and if you do well and want to spread the wealth then feel free to donate....You can sell anything you like as long as it is in the realms of decencyremember there will be kids here.... If you have any item you would like to donate (toys or just stuff) then please make sure they are still boxed... there will be a raffle for all these items on the day so if you want to chuck them at me at Billing then that will be great or you could just bring it allong on the day.

Entry will be £2.00 per person and kids under 10 years old come in for free unless you want to give us £2.00 anyway... Hint, Hint...

If anyone knows anyone who would like to offer their services e.g. bouncy castle etc then please call me or email me...anything considered ...

Our target is to get as close to £5000 as possible, hopefully getting more.... We are also looking for any items that we could auction off, either on the day or at a later date, so if you have an unwanted gift that is collecting dust then bring it along and donate it...

The main thing is that we get a really good turn out of Rods, classics, choppers and of course people..... I would appreciate any help from you guys and girls whether in attendance or support....

So if the Surry Street Rodders can get 2000 cars to a charity event and The Watford Rods can get 200 odd to an event even when it rains I am sure that 50 rods wont be such a stretch for you guys....

There will even be a prize or Trophy. Or both, for visitors favourite. So that could be a Rod, Custom, Classic, Bike or whatever.... its the public's choice.

So keep Saturday 7th July 2007 free....from about 10:00 until about 16:00....and bring plenty of change as there will be plenty of people with buckets hounding you for change....

Please remember that nobody is getting paid and that every single penny is being donated for the day...ALL proceeds are going to the charity and there will be NO outgoings.... everyone is helping voluntarily.... so PLEASE support this worthy cause.

I`d like to come.
I`ve read else where that this is a Rod show that is for Rods only pre `73 which kinda precludes me .
Whats the score ?

Whats your ride???...is it a custom, classic, rod?..... to be honest that stipulation was only ever put in because of the amount of space, but if you have something that you think will be something the public would like to see then come on down.... I just dont want a parking area full of escorts and then no room for serious tin... you must understand that.... some of the newer cars will still be able to park outside the venue as the parking restrictions have been lifted for the day.... it will essentialy be like the Ace cafe doos...

It looks like I`m the only one from here going to this...........


If any one wants to join me I"ll be pulling out of Stanway Retail Park/MC Donalds,Colchester at 0930 to run down there.....could pull over at Chelsmford truck stop on way.

Rather than go down the M11 n flip on the Woodford donut I`m gonna stay on the M25 to the next junction n come into Loughton thru Epping Forest
