Mitch told me about this site ages ago, thought i'd better finally give it a look since he's become a hot-shot car show organiser. Hope to get the Buick to the NATS this year, or maybe the Consul. Until then, its all flares and sideburns for me with the Shagpiled Dodge Tradesman. Dave. (ex-Hippy Dave for the benefit of Mandi)
hi junkman, nice to see you here, im a newbie too. im the one who spoke to you at the dick turpn abbout parts i have that you might need for the van, have you still got it????
Hi, yeah I remember you, Trev right!. I've still got the Dodge (and the rest of 'em) You might have seen it briefly on ebay a while back. Just testing the water to see if it got any interest at a price I couldn't refuse to accept before I started work on it. Could do with a few bits like a heater valve (cable operated, not the vacuum type, and its a funny 'U' shape unlike most i've come across as replacements) speedo cable, Fuel gauge sender unit (or maybe the gauge?) Will try to get some of this stuff new if possible when i'm in the States next week, but let me know what you have as its always nice to have some extra junk kicking around. That way you can usually guarantee you'll never need those parts : ) Looking for a set of AR Torq Thrust Originals's or D's or Daisy mags in 4.5PCD 15x7"+ if anyones got a set. Same as Ford bolt pattern. David. P.S. anyone got several yards of virgin SHAGPILE kicking about?
ooooo i love grocery shopping. We'll have to get together and discuss the escalating cost of butter! I like the Humber..............didn't used to be light metallic blue before being assalted by a dozan matt black rattle cans, did it? Hope to bump into you and Fly sometime this summer.
