Cant help it, i love it.

I love the rear end

Got to clean it inside and out

Needs a clean under here and the sound proofing pads replaced under the bonnet.

It has uprated rad and a kenlowe so no overheating issues. Today ive replaced the rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes. Im going to replace the brake lines too.smile

Thats a cowards way of saying "i hate the damn car" biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

They are an aquired taste i suppose but ive always fancied one. I cant get enough of the 3 litre burble, the low down sporty drive, the wood rimmed wheel, and no rust to contend with (on the body at least) biggrin
Yes the body cracks, but this ones ok. They overheat but it has a better rad and a kenlowe. Electrics are niggly but the only problem this one had was indicators not working. Fixed yesterday for £25 aww

I have bills for it totalling over two grand in replacement spares etc and the last owner seemed to look after it until it went into storage 10 months ago. Now storage is lost, i can play with it. (until im offered a fair price and flog it) biggrin

Im also looking for a pick up to play with. Something like an old Mazda or even an old polski fiat to modify and practice my welding on. I have a vision of slammed, matt black with black cragar style rims. mmmmmm.....biggrin

A couple of years back me n James were picking up a 1/4 mile Bug Chassis from "Fat Boys Racing" in Gloucester......At the time they were trying to slip a 350 into one of those, which,as it happens used to be owned by Princess Ann....
I like `em but the 3 wheel ones are more fun

i had a couple of scimitars a while back , with a few easy mods they can be a verry usable daily driver (i had one as an only car foe 2 years) all the crap abbout overheating is a myth that was caused by people installing capri or granada engens and not changing the temp sender unit for the correct one (zodiac). its easy to lower the front by an inch ish, impoving handling imensely, if you get stuck for spares let me know, i was the spares co-ordinator for the drivers club and still have some usefull contacts
