I dont have any, i want some Lowering blocks for the rear, ok i get that, but are they universal or do i have to buy a set specifically for my Humper? On to the front. Cutting the coils im told is the way to go. Is it a case of cutting and refitting until i get the correct height, or do i just decide on a coil and a half (for arguments sake) and go for it? Does anyone have any tips or experience lowering their Sceptre? (Mitch????) I want it fairly low but still have a little ride comfort. Doesnt have to be plush but i dont want to go down the road like im on a harley rigid Any help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

hi ya ... so your going for it well done you... i know mitch lowered ashas moggie if thats any help , see if he knows anyone or tips... good luck carnt wait to see it all done for the nats..x
When Mike lowered the Rapier, all he did was cut the coils (think we've still got what he cut out somewhere in the garage).
There is a guy from Cambridge way that has lowered his Septic, it was at the B52's a month ago. Can't remember his name mind you. He has also converted it to a 2 door.
I'm back! Can't find the bits he cut off, otherwise I would photograph 'em for you to see. Found all sorts of other stuff out there. Anyone want a broken series 2 Sniper window winder??
What about a nice easy engine swap? What lump would be fairly straightforward to shove under my bonnet for a bit more poke. I know any engine swap is a major project but i would have thought a 4 pot would be easier than a V8??? What do i do about a gearbox? When i had fords it was easy, but now im in a Humber i dont have any experience about what fits and what doesnt. Oh for a Cortina.....

I'm still in the process of lowering mine, cut one spline off and it made no difference, so maybe 2 next time. I think someone told me that ford lowering blocks fit Humbers I'll find out soon. I'm fitting a Holbay engine in mine, easy power increase and fits straight in. Looks good too if you fit it with the twin 40's and LCB manifold. I fancy fender skirts on mine now, gives the appearance of a very low rear end.
I dont know what to do....i keep changing my mind like the weather. Want to stick huge rims and low profiles now ...... ffs just sell the bl**dy thing and get a motorbike
Just remembered, ive got a motorbike only a 125 tho
